Pastoral care is the ministry of care. The ministry was created to meet the minister’s needs. We represent Jubilee Christian Church International Durham (JCCI) Chapel of Victory. We make sure that all guest ministers feel welcome and right at home. We attend to the welfare of the pastors and the guest ministers by providing them nutritious food. We are in charge of hosting visitors for church events. In the bible the Lord rewarded the woman that took care of the man of God and her son was revived, and also the story of the widow of Zarephath taught us the importance of serving the men of God, 1 King 17.
PURPOSE: Our purpose is to serve the people in ministry by attending to their welfare, especially the guest ministers. We serve as host for the church by providing the guest ministers with what they want to eat and not just what is available.
GOAL: Our goal is to provide comfort to the ministers and pastors
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE MINISTRY?
Any male or female member of JCCI may join the ministry. It is not necessary to know how to cook as there are other ways in which people may serve in this ministry.
