Hospitality
In Genesis 18:1-8 We read how Abraham generously gave the best he had to three total strangers. And as it turned out, he had entertained the Lord himself and two angels. Also, during Jesus Christ’s public ministry, Jesus and his disciples totally depends on the hospitality of others as they ministered from town to Matthew 10:9-10
The Hospitality Ministry at JCCI is a team that deeply values guests, strangers, and members. Our mission is to show the love of God through the gift of hospitality. We accomplish this mission by welcoming all guests, strangers, and members with a gracious, warm, and courteous attitude. With this in practice, we hope to particularly transform our guests into Jubilee family members.
Responsibilities and Skills
As members of the Hospitality Ministry, we cater to all visiting ministers by preparing Care Pack Baskets. Additionally, we are responsible for setting up the food table for church members and visitors during our Midweek Service. Many of them come to church after work. Thus, serving our members and visitors with food illustrates our dedication in supporting their nourishment and well-being. We also cater to social events held at Jubilee. Some of which include the Conventions Mountain Conferences and our Annual Inter-house Sports Event.
With skills in positively interacting with guests and members, exercising compassion, and practicing humility, the Hospitality Ministry aims to ensure that all members and guest have a positive and enriching experience at Jubilee Church of Christ International.
Matthew 25: 35 For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in.
